Craig has directed over
twenty performances in Singapore, Japan, Taiwan, Macau, France, Canada,
and the United States, including productions at the Esplanade Studio
Theatre,
Santa Barbara Museum of Art, Telus Theatre, Mobius,
ARTSWorcester,
The Anthony Burgess Center, Tiny Alice, and Taiwan's National
Experimental Theatre. Craig is also a scholar of Asian theatre and has
conducted six
years of field research in China and Taiwan. Recent grants
include the Council of American Overseas Research Center Fellowship,
ACLS/SSRC/NEH International and Area Studies Fellowship, Chiang Ching-kuo
Fellowship, and Blakemore Fellowship. He has instructed theatre classes
at Shih Chien University, Taipei National University of the Arts, Worcester
State College, Northwestern University, and University of Colorado International
College
in Taiwan.
He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Theatre and
Dance at Grinnell College. Craig received
his Ph.D.
in Performance Studies from Northwestern University.
